As a hunter, there are many details to consider when planning an international hunt. We want to make it as simple as possible for you! Our comprehensive transport package covers everything – from shipping and regulations to taxes and documentation. All you need to do is focus on the experience, and let us handle the rest. Here’s an overview of the process:

1. Preparation
Once you’ve chosen your destination and the trophies you want to pursue, you can quickly and easily calculate your price on GTL’s website: gtltrophy.com/prices. Alternatively, you can email us for a quote. From there, GTL will:
- Perform an initial check for any CITES restrictions on imports to the EU and your final destination. Each EU country has specific import requirements that must be met.
- Register the hunter’s personal details
- We recommend that you always request a routing order from us.
2. The Hunt
After a successful hunt, you must provide the routing order to your outfitter. If taxidermy work is carried out in the hunting country, the routing order should be given to both the taxidermist and the outfitter.
- GTL receives a clear overview from the outfitter or hunter detailing all trophies from the hunt.
- We review each trophy and take care of the initial steps for documentation and transport.
- To keep everything running smoothly, please make sure you have copies of all hunting documents.
3. Transport and Delivery
GTL keeps you informed by email throughout the entire process – from the end of your hunt until your trophies are delivered.
- We coordinate delivery from our warehouse to your address or arrange a collection date at GTL
- You’ll receive an email from GTL when your trophies are ready for collection or when they leave our warehouse en route to your delivery address.
- At GTL, the included insurance covers the entire journey – from the taxidermist to final handover.
